Frauwirth was on the tenure track for nine years before becoming a professional-track instructor. He has taught 10 different courses, at every level from BSCI105 (intro biology) to CBMG688Q (graduate-level vaccinology).
The identical twin brothers from Uzbekistan joined the department in 2017 as research technicians in Vince Lee’s lab. Now, they are working toward doctoral degrees in the labs of Eric Haag (Asan) and Caren Chang (Husan).
